Masterclass Sheilagh Ogilvie

On 20th November 2019, Sheilagh Ogilvie (University of  Cambridge) was invited to follow up a lecture on her new book The European Guilds: an Economic Analysis with a masterclass for PhD candidates and postdocs from our own Freedom of the Streets project as well as our colleagues from The Invention of the Refugee and Premodern Conflict Management. The masterclass focused on the interplay between norm and practice, a subject which Ogilvie has repeatedly addressed in her own research. For a summary of the masterclass, see the blogpost here.
