Merchants in 1784

The Naamregister of the year 1784 is invaluable as they pinpoint names, places and practices together. The alphabetical listings per name in the Naamregisters are very straightforward, but at the same time, very heterogeneous in richness and precision. In this visualisation different reliability levels (1st being the most reliable and 4th the least) are assigned to each geocoded entity (corresponding alphabetical entry in the source) to explicitly aggregate the employed uncertainty.
